About the Trainer
The owner/trainer, Sloan Adams, started training horses at the age of 10. Sloan entered the training world when she was asked to halter break 5 unhandled yearlings for a local rescue, since then, she has been hooked! Sloan has been training horses for more than 9 years and has recently opened her doors to more clientele! Sloan has put her equine training to the test and competed in Rally for the Rescues Trainers' Challenge 2020 and 2021, winning Grand Champion both years, along with the 2022 North Carolina TIP Challenge mustang makeover where she won Reserve Grand Champion of her division and the 2023 Bluegrass TIP Challenge mustang makeover where she won 6th place in the adult division! Sloan's training methods are energy based and fall under natural horsemanship. Sloan takes a gentle approach to training horses and listens to the horse, letting the horse tell her WHY they act the way they act.
About the Facility
SEA Horsemanship is based out of Elysium Farm Equestrian Center, an equine facility in East Tennessee! With 31 stalls, 40+ acres of lush pasture, an indoor arena, 2 outdoor round pens, and an outdoor arena, your horse will be living in luxury!
