If you’re looked for a quiet natured, athletic pony, Abu is your girl! With a strong work ethic and a try hard attitude, Abu would excel in a performance/show lifestyle. But, her quiet nature would also make her a wonderful pleasure pony. With a solid foundation under saddle, Abu can be finished in any direction! 

✅ Easy to catch and lead 

✅ Loads and unloads from the trailer with ease 

✅ Stands crosstied and single tied 

✅ Stands to be groomed, tacked, and to be trimmed by the farrier 

✅ Confidently going walk/trot/canter under saddle (I primarily ride her English but she has been ridden western) 

✅ Soft in the bridle and soft to your leg, has 3 comfortable gaits

✅ Started over fences (Abu LOVES to jump and is exceptionally good at it, but I do not jump her often due to her age) 

✅ Has been to many dressage shows, scoring well at all of them (recently scoring at 72.3% in Training Level)

✅ Same pony off property 

✅ Confident over obstacles 

✅ Barefoot and easy keeper 

✅ UTD on Coggins, vaccines, and dental. Gets monthly chiropractic and bodywork. 

❌ I truly cannot think of any vices for this mare. The only thing is that she is EXTREMELY smart, she will learn bad habits easily if the rider allows it. For this reason, I am not selling her as a kid’s pony. She is safe and I would not hesitate putting a kid on her, but a kid cannot be the sole rider. 

Abu has so much potential and is ready to go in any direction! She has proven to make a beautiful dressage horse but has a love for jumping as well. I would love to see Abu end up in a show home!
